Shangxia Cat Hotel

Shangxia is a Chinese style care center for cats. The word “Shang“ and “Xia“ mean “up“ and “down“ in English.

The client is a cat lover with a fondness for Chinese aesthetics. They have created a private space for cats, hoping to let them relax and grow in a garden-like environment. We drew inspiration from the shape of windows in Chinese gardens, and combined the shapes of the Chinese characters for 'up' and 'down' to create this logo. We also put client's cat into the design. While ensuring overall simplicity and elegance, the logo is full of fun, which is highly recognized and liked by the client.
